A rich, smooth malty porter with roasted and chocolate flavours, but not sweet.
Conniston
Champion Beer of Britain 1998. This pale ale has an excellent light hop character with soft malt taste.
Wentworth
Very pale, citrussy, light, bitter, golden beer.
Kelham Island
A Champion Beer of Britain in 2004 and deservedly so. A pale beer with a fruitiness from the malt but not sweet. Good hoppiness too.
Hawkshead
This Lake District golden ale has good bitterness but a good citrus floral hoppiness too. Easy to drink but satisfying too. Available online or at Booth's supermarkets.
Timothy Taylor
A multiple Champion Beer of Britain, last winning in 1999. There is no doubt that this is a Yorkshire bitter, it has a good amount of bitterness but also loads of floral citrus hoppines
Saltaire
This golden beer is all about showing off the Goldings hop. Nothing else in the beer distracts from the hoppy flavour and aroma, merely complements it. Only available in bot
Moorehouse's
