If I'd bought this at a beer festival, it would have reinforced all those prejudices that people have about us and the beer we drink.  Tastes like mushy peas.  And not in a good way.&nbsp

For an American IPAⁱ, this is very much in the English style.   Earthy hops with loads of bitterness balanced by some malt body.

This is an American blow-your-head-off with hops style IPAⁱ.   Loads of pine resin hoppiness with a bitter afterglow.   Big, brash and in-your-face beer.

This is a good example of an English IPAⁱ.   It has an earthy, spicy hop flavour with a good amount of hop flavour but balanced by the malt taste.

This reminds me of a stronger version of Coniston Bluebird.   It is a mellow pale ale with maybe a little elderflower and subtle hopping.

A golden summer beer.   Light and refreshing with citrussy hops and a mellow malt flavour.
