This Saturday we travelled to Manchesterⁱ & I went with Stuey & Andy to the NWAF in the city centre. We met up with Aidan & Gillian and had a good stab at the beers on offer.

I've just got back from Manchesterⁱ from the wonderful beer festival. This is the 3rd National Winter Ales Festival in Manchester and its no suprise that they have many dark & strong beers.

Very slickly run beer festival. Lots of darker, heavier winter brews but still plenty of lighter ones for when you want a break from the stout & old ale. Top ales drunk:
