Brewery website calls it an IPAi, bottle label says it is a pale ale, I would call it an American Pale Alei - A small quibble when the beer's this good.

A copper-chestnut brown ale true to the traditional Scottish 80/- style. Malty aroma not masked by hops, nor for that matter the taste - a very low hopped beer.

Deep golden ale. Solid earthy, pine-resin hoppiness that lingers. Some caramel-toffee malt. A traditional English-style India Pale Alei with some punch to it.
