My favourite beer festival of the social calendar is only a short while off!  

Enjoyment of beer is influenced by such things the weather and your companions as much as the venue and the quality of the brew itself.   So I acknowledge that this is entirely subjective

It was a scorcher at Edgeley Park for the 21st Stockportⁱ Beer Festival but Stockport Station was closed for engineering works so a fleet of taxis deposited us there.

The Crown is billed as Stockportⁱ's premier real ale pub and they're right!  It is the bee's pyjamas and used as a place to hole up after the Stocky Beer Fest before we go to Rusholme fo

Beer of the festival was Bazen's Liberty Aleⁱ and most people agreed with me.
