I feel that I'm pointing out the obvious here but there is a beer for every occasion;   Cycling, lawnmowing, whatever.   Whilst we know that a 6% alcohol dark bitter can be drunk at a pool party in the height of summer, it is best of course in front of a traditional pub fire in January.   Similarly the ultra sour, oak aged lambic can be served at a wedding, but you're better off having an party with more beer-orientated guests around.
