There are several reasons for drinking alcohol free beers; you are driving, you are on call, you need to get up early, you are on medication, pregnant etc.   One reason has never really cropped up until recently & that is because you might like the taste.   Alcohol free beers used to be universally bland & tastless, but now some are actually drinkable - enjoyable even.   Certainly more enjoyable than drinking cola or orange juice for hours in a pub or at a party because you're driving later.

NB. Do not use the rating system for these beers as comparable to the rating on normal beers elsewhere on this site - just because Bitburger Drive receives 8 out of 10 does not put it on a par with a good English bitter or Czechⁱ Pilsner.
