Tired of budget hotels, I searched through the Good Beer Guide & booked a room in The Black Horse in Bridgnorth.   Cheaper than a budget hotel & with several real ales on the bar - I'd struck gold.

Friendly staff - although having been told that I could have breakfast at 7, nobody told the cook - in a locals pub.   Plenty of space to sit down in the lounge, bar or outside & right in the middle of Low Town if you want to go exploring.   As I was driving early the next morning I had just 3 beers - the best being Salopian Renaissance, which was a great citrussy beer.
