pub

Bored on a rainy night in Nottingham with the only other option being going back to my hotel with a bottle in front of the telly, I walked downhill to the canal side & the pub with my name on.

Several real ales & blackboards advertisingi their food. Newspapers on a rack & the remains of a brewery on show by the loos. A real pub that hasn't got any olde worlde tourist gimmicks, but a living proper boozer.

I had a Nottingham Brewery, James Clayton beer which was perfectly nice but I didn't record any tasting notes. I wanted to try the Chocolate, Guinnessi & Mint ice cream advertised on the wall, but had already eaten. Maybe it was 3 different flavours though.
