A traditional style pub done out in dark wood furniture & panelling with framed newspapers on the walls. There is a small snug to one side of the island bar. The only thing letting this pub down is the bland Greene King beer, but they do have one guest - which was the rather good St Austell Proper Job when we visited. They also had Budweiser Budvar on tap to give you another option that's not GK.
The food was good traditional pub food & we all enjoyed it & the bar staff were very friendly in passing a stool over the bar as we could squeeze anything else through the snug door.
