A wonderfully strong bottled mild.   I suspect it is the stronger version of the Champion Beer of Britain, Hobson's Mild so that it is a more robust product for bottling.   It is full bodied with a good chocolate malt flavour and a good amount of bitterness.

Consistently good in a bottle.   My favourite mild ale in bottle form.
