Whilst it is our 3rd visit in as many years to the Fforest Fieldsⁱ camp site it is the first time we've stayed local rather than using it as a base to drive out from.

We discovered The Hundred House Inn just up the road although we took the scenic route over the hills to it.

The food was great - they had about 8 types of fish on the menu and smutty photos and cartoons on the wall. Best of all they had Brains Mild which was excellent.

They've even got an authentic antipodean serving behind the bar to make it feel like the world is still working correctly even though you are miles from home!
