This is a great bar.   Definitely not a pub - a bar.   Several different European lagers (most are good ones too) on tap plus up to 4 real ales on.   Several different foreign bottled beers in the fridge behind the bar too.   Lively & probably gets rammed at weekends but they have plenty of space to sit.

Opposite the Manchesterⁱ Student Union building it is a great place to sit & wait for the gig to start at the Academy.   That's what we did.   We started on a pint of Budweiser Budvar, Caledonian Deuchars IPAⁱ, Thwaits Lancaster Bomber & bottles of Fruh Kolschⁱ & Jever Pilsner.   It was only a Monday night though so we didn't go overboard.
