After the Stockportⁱ Beer Festival, we moved on to what has traditionally been Stockport's best pub:The Crown.   Now it has some new competition in The Magnet Inn up the hill on the way out of town on the A6 - easily walkable from the train & bus station.

14 real ales were advertised & we weren't dissapointed.   A modern, roomy pub with some benches out the back & friendly enough.   The beers were kept well & the staff were friendly too.
