A couple of real ales & plenty of seating makes this pub ok with us.   It has adverts for bands performing soon so I imagine it can get loud sometimes.   Probably the least traditional pub we went into all day - which is no slur on The Market Tavern as there are so many traditional pubs in Durham & we don't go to lager palaces.
