This is a dark mild with bags of flavour even though it is fairly low in alcohol.   A malty, chocolatey flavour that doesn't overwhelm and is very easy drinking.   A Champion Beer of Britain in 2000.

This was my favourite mild ale until I tried Hobson's Mild.   Its still great though.
