My favourite beer festival of the social calendar is only a short while off!  

Q. Why is it my favourite? (in order)

A. Most of my friends live within a bus ride of there - conversely I live 200+ miles away.

A. The football ground location means there is a seat for everyone, under cover, yet in the open air.

A. The local brewery scene is excellent so a good range of quality beers are available.

A. I've been to 11 out of the last 12 so far & don't want to miss one.   The one I missed was when my wife's Dad left Plymouth to sail around the world on the same day.

A. Duh!   Its a beer festival!

On the downside, The Stockport Wurlitzer can't be used as the lunchtime entertainment like it used to be in the Town Hall.   You can read about it here though: www.voxlancastria.org.uk/stop1.htm
