An olde worlde pub, but not in an imported tat kid of way - this feels like its been like this forever. 8 real ales, mostly local(ish) beers. Brewerania & sepia photos on the walls & dark wooden furniture. Hidden out the way behind the Rep, you'd think it would be quiet but its a lively place with jazz at the weekend.

I mistakenly thought Ansells Mild was local & had a drink - nice enough, but its apparently brewed by Thwaites nearer to my home. A blackboard on the wall advertised traditional pub grub.
