I have to admit that I picked this pub like so many old ladies pick race horses - by the name. With only 2 nights in Brum & so many pubs in the Good Beer Guide, I have to discriminate somehow.

A stone floored classy joint with an island bar & 3 real ales. I had some of the very local beers from Two Towers, which were perfectly reasonable & served in half pint dimpled, handled glasses - sweet!

A nice place to go for a quiet drink & a chat.
