Bowman
This is the best bottled beer I've had in ages. I first tried Quiver Bitter on draught in the beer tent at the Bishops Waltham Festival alongside Elderado in 2008 & both were excellent.
Now Bowman Ales have bottled it - successfully too, there are loads of small breweries who ruin a good pint by bottling it cheaply (Hampshirei Brewery, Ascot Ales, Hammerpot) - but not these. Admittedly the sample size isn't huge at the moment to judge this accurately, but I shall definitely work on that.
The beer is a pale golden colour, with a fresh citrussy aroma. It is a delicate tasting beer with a huge Cascadei hop flavour, light maltiness & a gentle bitterness in the aftertaste.
You can find it in select outlets in Hampshire mostly. I found mine at Bitter Virtue off-license in Southamptoni.
