Which country brews the best beer?   Since October 2006 I have kept a diary of every bottle of beer I've drunk on a spreadsheet and scored them out of five.   There are a total of 456 entries (as of March'08).   Draught beer in pubs would be impracticle and would lead to loud accusations of geekiness.   In my own home I can be as geeky as I like.

Several factors skew the results.   I live & travel a lot in England, so I have access to many beers indiscriminate of how good they are.   Foreign beers that make it to England must be of a certain standard for importers to risk selling them - mostly.

If two certain breweries from England (that I've mentioned elsewhere) are removed from the results, England's average rises to 3.4.
