An olde worlde pub, but not in an imported tat kid of way - this feels like its been like this forever. 8 real ales, mostly local(ish) beers.

I have to admit that I picked this pub like so many old ladies pick race horses - by the name.

A proper boozer with a long bar with over 10 real ales on & a darts team. The beers are listed clearly at the side of the bar & the fridges behind the bar are teaming with decent beer in bottles.

A pub right on the edge of Aston Uni's campus in the city centre & with loads of "we're bonkers, we are" students using the cash point next to the pub, but none actually in the pub.
