I had a helping hand brewing this beer from Al, who will shortly be venturing into the world of brewing himself.

I don't think I've ever brewed the same beer twice in recent years - this is about as close as I get though - there's always a new hop I find & have to try out or a tweak to the last recipe to expe

My coffee stout brewed earlier in the year was the best thing I have ever brewed & went down well with my drinking friends.

A full mouthfeel & chocolatey, but not sweet.   Has a little roasted & burnt malt flavour to it.

Silky like an oatmeal stout.   Sweetish & full bodied.  

Wood smokey, dry & full bodied.

Sweet stout, but not cloying.   Smooth with liquorice & burnt flavours.

A good solid stout with good burnt malt flavours.   Good bitterness too.

Much alcohol warmth & burnt flavours.   A very drying aftertaste.
