Below are some of the bottled Belgian beers I've tasted. I've not included the specialist gueuzes or lambics.
De Halve Maan
A typical Belgian Blonde ale with vanilla & candy floss flavours. Carbonated, filtered & served cold like a lager - this is a good example of a Belgian Blonde.
Brouwerij Van Eecke
Typical Belgian blonde ale with vanilla & candy floss flavours.
Belgians have a long history of brewing in many different styles, contrasting with the German's who tend to make beer around the pale lager theme.
Brasserie du Bocq
Perfect hop nose, perfect pale but full flavoured sweet yet dry body. Perfect, perfect, perfect.
Delirium
Well hopped unfiltered trippel, but not as sweet as most. Surprisingly hoppy nose. Excellent drinking.
Leyerth
Very pale and hoppy without being too bitter. Hops coming in strong at the end. Only problem I could find with this overall fantastic beer is that it's a touch too sweet perhaps.
